All-Season tires on TT-RS
I'm thinking about switching to Pilot Sport A/S 3+ for 60-ish% of the year. Currently, I have Michelin P4s' and a full winter wheel/tire set. I'm the original owner and have put about 46k miles on the car. Car is starting to age, has interior chattering over even the smallest crack, etc... Recent improvements have come from brand new suspension and front rotors.
Anyone have experience on a TT-RS with these or something similar? |
Check the user reviews on Tire Rack. Might also consider Continental DWS. On my wife's MB E350 which we take into mountains regularly, the AS3s seemed better in snow than the DWS

I have the Conti DWS and have been happy with them.

I had the AS3’s on my TTS and was always frustrated with the lack of dry performance — but They were great in the rain. They got noisy and hard toward end of life. Sorry cannot comment on snow capability...not much of that here in Houston. |
Hmm.
I'll have to check them out. I guess it's a toss up between the A/S3+ and DWS. It's about that time... |
