Default Availability of later models with manual transmission

Hey everyone,

Im having some trouble locating a single Audi TT(S) that is later than model year 2009 that has a 6 speed manual gearbox aside from the 2012/2013 RS. I am hoping to upgrade eventually from my 2008 3.2 to something newer, even mk3 if possible. Do these newer cars exist in the United States with manual transmissions past 2009?

My understanding is that they do not exist. The mk2 tt rs is probably the last Audi that will ever be sold in the USA with a manual transmission.

True except the S5 and S4 were built with manuals longer. I’ll probably keep my 6 Speed manual 2015 S5 forever.

Looks like the only one still configurable with a stick is the A4. I see wikipedia states that even the mk3 TT comes in manual, I assume that's everywhere besides USA? How do I check this for sure? I tried to contact Audi directly and they told me to talk to a dealer and the dealership has no info they give about older model configurations...

So is my choice for the TT body stuck at 2009 or older TT, or a 2012/2013 TTRS? Not that I wouldnt want a TTRS, just they still cost 30k+ where a TT can be had for half of that.

The "newest" TTs with a manual tyranny in the US are the Mk 2 TTRS (12 and 13 MY) and the Mk2 with the 3.2 engine (8 & 9 MY). The 3.2 stick is a very rare find in the US as most were sold as automatics. The Wiki reference is to worldwide sales. Wiki will tell you there is the Mk 3 TTS and TTRS are sold as roadsters but they will never be sold in the US. TT sales in the US are too low for Audi to justify the cost of federal and state mandated testing of multiple trannies. The reality is that only hard core enthusiasts even consider buying a stick. BMW offers a stick on their 2 series and less than 5% sold in the US have it. Dealers will not order a stick for their inventory because they are a hard sell.
