Best Color For TTS?
Yep, I hate it when people ask this question also, and I know it's all about personal taste, but I just can't decide what color is best for a TTS. I usually have a specific color that stands out for a particular model, but this one has thrown me for a loop.
I like black, red, silver, and white. I have a black 335i right now (4th black car), and I'm just so tired of the upkeep. Yet the TTS looks amazing in black. Red looks good in the pics but I haven't seen one in person, and it's really not my personality. I've always liked silver, but on the TTS the mirrors and fuel lid don't show up much. My wife says silver or white. This won't be a daily driver, but it will get driven whenever possible. Just not to Wal-Mart or on bad weather days. I'm not asking for someone to tell me what color to get, just looking for some thoughts. Thanks.

Avoid silver if you can IMHO...
.... even though it shows off the contours nicely, it's kind of a boring color. In fact silver is the most common color here in the US.
For example I saw a Daytona Grey R8 at the dealership and it looked AMAZING. Very sexy and exotic, especially with the brown leather interior. But nearby was an identically optioned silver R8 and it looked downmarket by comparison.
Also here in Venice there's another TT that looks exactly the same as mine on the outside except it's silver. Again my Meteor Grey looks considerably more upscale and exotic.
Since you haven't listed Meteor Grey I'd say black or white. The black allows some great contrast with all the chrome parts and alloys, while the white shows off the design and adds an obvious bling factor.

Disagree!!

You can call this boring if you want, but I think ice silver looks great on a TT. I am not a huge meteor fan, but again as you said, color is completely subjective. I had two S4's in custom colors (Northern Blue Pearl) which were beautiful, IMO. I wasn't about to spend another $2500 on a custom color, even though the choices in the US are limited.

if not black, get silver...
always looks new and fresh in comparison to darker cars and looks really sharp when it matches alloy rims...I think Audi's look amazing in black as well but silver is so much more rewarding after being cleaned, etc. black is a lot of work.

well that knocks out silver and white...
between black and red I would get black, you get the most contrast in an understated way...the TTS is already an amazing car that people will notice, the red IMO says "look at me" a little to loudly.
