Default Boost Gauge in Air-vent .. sorry for crappy nokia pics!

Here it is.. took about 30 minutes to install the gauge and its sensor + install it into the dash. The gauge is not 100% inside and its a bit popped out because Prosport 60mm gauge has a little bit "excess" plastic. But it looks WOW in person! i see its a MUST have.

Default I'd definitely install a rheostat to turn down the voltage to the illumination to closer match...

the OEM brightness of the gauge cluster...

Far too bright IMO...

Default it is a bit brighter than the car speedometer, but not as in the pic

this pic is a very low quality one, i know it shows that the gauge is flashing white! but in person its not :P that's only because my phone-cam sucks lol .. if i'd rate the pic i'd say its only 40% of whats the real deal is =)

it is a little bit brighter than the speedometer and RPM but i'm glad it is =D .. I'll post a better quality pic asap

how was the installation? I really like the idea of a turbo gauge ....

where do you run those hoses? complicated?

Default it was very simple... almost plug and play

well i did not do it myself because i'm not so familiar around engines. but i watched the mechanic doing it. he replaced a two way rubber with a 3 way one (entrance from the engine, exit for i dont know what :P , and the third one connected to a hose for the gauge). i think that rubber transports air. anyhow, any technician with a teeny tiny bit of experience would do it with no hassles.

Looks great! Is it just me or the gauge not flush with the vent's trim?

Default u r right

the Prosport 60mm boost gauge has a 2mm too long plastic on its neck. thats why its 2mm too long to fit inside entirely. check the pic, if the marked area is shorter by 2mm it would've fitted perfect.

Hmm. Maybe they'll eventually release an MK2 gauge.
