Considering a used 2008 Audi TT
Hey all,
I've been fans of Audi for a long time. I'm considering a used 2008 Audi TT. There's one that has caught my eye mostly because of the visual styling the owner has done but I'm afraid about jumping into this car because it has 280,000km of mileage. At that age and price range many are around 180,000km so it has 100,000 km on top of those. So that doesn't sound like a smart buy but I really like the styling of this particular one. I was wondering if some experienced Audi TT owners could give me some advice and tell me what they think of the listing?
Here's the listing.
Thanks in advance for all the help!

Read this Mk 2 FAQ https://forums.fourtitude.com/showth...-MK2-TT-a5-FAQ
The listing has little information so it is impossible to make an assessment. He has obviously placed RS logos on a non-RS car which turns off most folks. What does he mean when he says "originally this was a 3.2"? It looks like it still is. The price seems very high, even in $C, for that mileage.
The biggest attraction of the 3.2 in the Mk 2 is that it was the only Mk 2 available with a manual tranny but this one is auto. Folks really like the sound of the 3.2. But for overall performance the 2011+ 2L engine is the better buy as explained in the FAQ.
