Default Door card removal

Hi - does anyone know how to do this in the MK2 TTC?

There's a single T20 Torx screw beneath the handle, but everything else must be hidden. Twelve months after release, I thought there might be a tech guide online somewhere, but nothing at all...yet...

I've got you. hold on, give me a sec to go and find it. I have already done all the digging since the first thing I am doing when I pick mine up it replace the speakers and add an amp.

ok, here is the info straight from the repair database...

removal and installation are the same for right and left.

1) remove mid range speaker trim.
to do this use a soft trim removal wedge. (plastic)
begin at the upper top left corner and pry out. when re installing ensure the trim engages audibly.

2) remove the bolts, one below the door handle, the other was revealed after the mid range trim was removed.

the remainder of the panel is attached with clip style door fasteners. they are located equi-distant around the perimeter of the panel. once the clips have been released, lift up on the door panel to disengage the door panel from the window shaft area.

3) disengage bracket on door pull cable assembly. then pull inside door release cable away from the housing out of the bracket. release/disengage the end of the cable at the door release mechanism.

4) disconnect the electrical connectors on the door control module on the door near the main woofer. to disconnect, rotate the retaining bracket forward (away from wires) and remove the connector.

your done. sorry I can't provide the pictures, I printed it out since I don't normally have access to the database. let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be glad to look it up.

Thanks so much for that. Even without pictures, it's plenty detailed enough to work from.

The only thing I'm confused by - which is the midrange speaker trim? The lower one (where the Bose logo goes) or the upper one alongside the handle?

Reason for confusion is I'm trying to replace the upper trim (by my definition, that's the midrange one, the lower one being bass) but was told by the dealer this is melted into the door card.

Roccoman - thanks so much for your help. It was spot on. The following thread may be of interest and hopefully the pics are of use for when you get hold of your TT S Line:

It also contains my $0.02 on the TT's Bose limitations.
