-->Apologies if there already is a discussion thread on upgrading earth on Audi TT MK2, I simply can’t find one.



Need some guidance with my Audi TT 2007.

Just fixed the rear brake light issue with new ground wiring and they now work like magic, thank you for the advice on that scottmechanics


The challenge is that I’ve also lost the Xenon front lights.

· First the left front on low beam.

· Then Right front on low beam.

· And soon after both high beam.



Park lights are ok.

Indicators work.



Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 14pin front light connector please?

When I measure the readings I am getting the following on both.

1) 2.5

3) 0

4) 12

5) 0

6) 12

7) 0

8) 0

9) 0.4

10) 0.4

11) 0.6

12)0.4

13)0

14)0



When measuring the ground (resistance) from the battery to connector I am getting.



Left 0.34

Right 0.19 to 0.56 changing between measurements



So to me it seems like the earth connection might be a problem.

Does anyone here know where the earth connection points on 2007 Audi TT are?

Would be good to clean these up or upgrade the wiring.



Just for the record the battery reads 13V standing – almost 14V when the car is running so it all seems ok.
