Default Absolutely! I've just been for years wondering why nobody has ever (to the best of my knowledge)

come up with a Bi-turbo for the 4 cylinder TT (1.8 or 2.0). It's an easy enough concept and it works well for the 2.7! With all the turbo selections out there I would think it's just a matter of sizing the right combo with the right location under the hood. These pictures I posted are just a interesting location to put twins or a Bi set-up. One of the features I find very interesting with this type of an arrangement, you can eliminate all the heat build-up you normally get in the cab from the engine compartment. Would I try something like this? I don't think so. Do I think it can work with a 2.0? I think after putting in a tremendous amount of brain work required to deal with all the variables you'd still only see a mediocre set-up. Just not enough exhaust to drive a system like this with a 4 cylinder motor. I'd imagine someone would have to down size the exhaust and turbo's to something like a twin turbo snow mobile before you can realize anything remotely close to meaningful. But like I said in the original post, it's an interesting arrangement.

I had to add this...
Question; Do Twin Turbo 4 cylinders even exist?
And the answer is yes their all over the place and even in German cars. Also... What do you think makes the little 2.0 WRX move so fast..

Subaru Legacy for instance..

The turbo lag will be terrible.

Default Isn't that an STS remote turbo system?

I've ridden in a GTO with a kit from those guys and there is very little turbo lag to be honest. Yes it is impossible to defeat the lag with the system set so far away but STS really has done their homework. Really impressive stuff IMO...especially when it was first introduced years ago.
