$860 + tax! What are they thinking?!!?!

I could get the non-S Cayman ($50K+ MSRP) for $700 + tax with the same terms (which I still couldn't afford). Yes, base, and yes, the terms were a little different, but come on!

No offense, but $920/month to lease a TT?!!?!

Default Last time I checked, the residual and base rate were better on the TT. I calculate $767-780+tax

What were you quoted? How's you credit?

The TT last month was 36 month 54% residual .00225 money factor. Residual goes up 1% if you purchase Audi Care.

So it is 780+tax per month, or $767+tax w/ Audi Care.

You can purchase it for less than that number.

Default He didn't give me the MF or residual, but I have the same you do for last month

Actually, residual is 56% for 36 months, 12K miles/yr, not 54%. A $48K car with no discount and no down payment would give you a monthly base of $777. They quoted me $860 base with $2K total out-of-pocket (at least $500 down), so they were shafting me, even though I have bought from them before and have a somewhat close relationship.

Even at $777 + tax, I think Audi prices are where they shouldn't be.

When I first saw a new 3.2 coupe loaded I was quoted 910 a month by Riverside Audi for a lease, insane. Sooo much cheaper to buy.

Default If Audi stays along this route...they will lose customers

Before I bought my S4, I looked at the new vette. Dealers were not discounting, leases were high, and market premiums were being charged.
IMHO, they blew the market. The result is 2 years later, tons of vette inventory. 06's and 07's.

You're right. I can't believe they're still selling new MY06's.

Default The MF is the real "driver" in that equation... just wait until the

demand curve shifts down and the equilibrium to the left... I wouldn't pay more than $550-600+ tax for that car.
