MK2 TT 8J Model headlight beam

PLEASE HELP I have a 8j MK2 TT and the headlights are crap on dipped beam. Had mot this week and was told if beam was any lower it would of failed but NO one knew how to adjust the beam up. I have 2 white screws on each light which I take are adjusters as I can't find out searching online as everyone keeps going on about vag com etc and self levelers which I don't think I have but please how the hell do I adjust these lights up. PLEASE HELP
