Default S-Tronic question. Manual to auto mode using paddles.

Does anyone know a way of getting the tt back into auto mode using the paddles? If i hit the paddles while in auto, the car goes into manual mode. Is there a way of reverting back quickly? I remember with the VW gti, I would hold both paddles down and this would revert the car back into auto in no time. With the tt, im having to use the shift, flick it into the up/down gate and back. This is a pain. Maybe audi should build this software back in like the DSG gearboxes.

Why do you need it to switch fast?

Default You're kidding right? Flicking the drive selector over and back is "a pain"?

Nothing could be more simple. Even holding both paddles is more complicated than flicking the selector over and back. What if you don't hit them at the same time and accidentally downshift?

to let auto take back control - optimum gear - better economy.
