Only us two....same number of TT's as Vintage Porsche Speedsters and New Maserati GT Coupes. Plenty more Lambos, F430 and so forth....TT still very exclusive sight (and I like it that way).

We should do it again with more notice...and Saturday in February...

It sounds like fun! I'm willing to make the drive given a couple weeks advanced notice.

Default Re: Nice... what is the front black plate for? (Glad you asked!)

It's a Belgian "temporary plate" from 1966, indicated by the first two vertical numerals. I figured LED DL's + a beastly number on an obscure plate would make for a savage looking tailgater?

The real reason for the Belgian plate, is to pay respect to the Edition 38 guys and the creative approach they've taken to the Audi/VW scene in Belgium.

I masked off the twin chrome strips that run horizontally across the license plate blank and did a light scuff, primed and painted in a nearly identical color to the "platinum plastic" finish Audi uses. I did the same treatment to the Belgian plate, for that monochromatic effect up front. I think there is enough going on up front, so I wanted it to be a subtle touch.

I appreciate the route less taken.<ul><li><a href="http://www.edition38.com/gallery/nkx_968p_by_drive_by_shooters/">http://www.edition38.com/gallery/nkx_968p_by_drive_by_shooters/</a</li></ul>
