Standard sound system, door speakers very low, blown?
Hey,
I just noticed that the single door speakers in both doors are very low. Pretty sure I have the none Bose basic system as on each side there is 1 tweeter up front, 1 speaker in the door and 1 or more in the back cannot verofy. I've pulled the door cards off before so can verify there's only 1 speakers in doors.
Does anyone know the function of the door speakers, are they tweeter, mids, sub?

Everything that I learnt in this journey was put to the test today. Someone wanted a simple dashboard and door speaker swap for an *** car.
So I sold him the B&O mids, I made up some plug and play cables that went from the *** tweeter plugs to a B&O mid, and used a crossover capacitor. He literally took 10mins to swap out his tweeters to drop my speakers and cables in. Which included the time he spent getting the grills and frame out, like I told him.
I then sold him a complete package of the correct door speakers, door spacer, waterguards, sealing strip and again made up some plug and play cables for the door speakers. The guy was done in a hour on both doors.
And I still have my door panels off trying to fit an 8 inch speaker in the door! Such is the benefit of experience.

Yes after comment's I went back thru multiple speakers and I like the one the best as a 3d speaker. I also tried it crossed over and not crossed I did not know if it was the speaker or the channel limiting sound here. If and When I change everything I have some Memphis mids I will put in this location that require more power. Right now just having fun playing around.

Center Channel
Focal K2 100mm fit perfect cutting 2 tabs off. Overkill I believe but I had 3 of them and all my other 4" mids were too deep. The Kappa Perfect fit in the factory housing perfect with no glue or anything. The tweeter definitely helped the sound.
