Default TTS all-weather tires?

Any suggestions for all-weather tires? I'm swapping out the OEM summer ones (Conti SportContact 3, 255/35ZR19)and selling them. TireRack only has two options for all-weather high-performance at that size: Yokohama ADVAN S.4. or Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season. Thanks.

Default I'm running the Goodyear F1 A/S...

I got my first time out in the snow and what a blast. Searched for every hill in town and the car was a champ. Right by all the snowplows. The Goodyears work great plowin 8" or on the asphalt.

Default How's the tire noise on pavement?

I'm shopping around for a quiet A/S tire. Thinking about Bridgestone Turanza Serenity, but those are $250 per tire. Looks like F1 A/S are about $150 per tire.

Have you had a chance to drive on pavement with these tires? How are they for year round driving?

I've got stock 17 inch 245/45 R17 with Primacy HP summer tires (not run flat), and the tire noise is horrendous at highway speeds. Makes my ears ring. I'm in Seattle so winter tires don't make sense, and frankly, neither do summer tires.

Default what's the general consensus opinion on the Continental SportContact 3 that come on the TTS?

i saw some reviews online that say they're great dry performance tires, but terrible in the snow.

i get up to Tahoe a fair amount during the winter and I'm wondering if it's worth throwing an all-season tire on during winter?
