Default What needs to be re-coded to swap in e-code TTS headlights? ...and stock housings for sale..

Just got my e-code TTS adaptive xenon housings with LEDS today... I'm swapping out my MKII US-spec adaptive xenon's without LEDs of course.... Curious what exactly needs to be re-coded to make them work properly. Anyone who's already done it.. I'd greatly appreciate the quick tips.

On a side note, I've got the stock adaptive xenon housings for sale for anyone with halogens looking to start an upgrade or whatever.. Only looking for about $750-800 OBO for the pair of housings, pretty much mint (cars only 4 months old).

Major thing is using VAG-COM to position the headlamps for installation. If you don't there is a possibility of breaking the motors. I haven't done it yet... Since you have a non-TTS, you will have to recode the function of your drl's and signals... as they are swapped. I'm not sure what the codes are... I've just read from users in Asia that have done the swap. You might be the first for the US. Also you might want to know if you sell your Xenons... It's not a direct swap for those with halogens... Different plugs/harness.

Default ...well I've got a vag-com.... any idea where you read about this? .. I'd like to see what I need

to change....

These lights are sweet.. I bet you can't wait to get your hands on yours!!

As for the housing, yeah... anyone that's gonna want to upgrade their halogens is going to need a couple parts...

Default ooooooooh... how much do they differ from what you got stock?

I know they've got a few more led's (since there's no reflector) and they don't have those blinders on the led's (so you can see them from the side).... what other benefits are there that you know of?

Default Nope... Actually the US has more... 12 white and 1 amber

The US spec LED's are closer together and the Euro are spread out more.
