Wheels for BBK on TTS ?
Hi All,
So I've gone and put a Big Brake Kit on my 2013 TTS Roadster. And now the stock wheels will not fit without spacers. I'm not crazy about using spacers. But they are doing their job. I have 8mm spacer in the front and the wheel just barely clears the caliper. There is some minimal rubbing on the front left tire. I think it only hits the fender liner material and not the metal.
So I'll be keeping my eye out for a set of wheels that will clear the calipers with no spacer. I welcome all suggestions including from manufacturers.
Current Setup:
Stock 19" x 9" ET52, 5 spoke wheels with brand new Michelin PS4S 255/35-19 tires.
TTRS front brake calipers
Girodisc 370mm front brake rotors
My requirements:
- New 19" wheel with existing 255/35-19 tires. (I've considered wider tires, and smaller wheels, etc. I'm set on staying with this basic tire/wheel size to minimize changes and complications.)
- Wheel width of 9" or 9.5". Unless I can be convinced otherwise.
- Offset cannot exceed the net effect of the 8mm spacer due to current minor tire rub.
Thanks for your input!

I have not mess with the brake setup yet.
Unfortunately, modding information here can take some time. They do discuss more mods on the TT Forum UK site. Lots of TT's are sold in the UK so more people tweaking them. That could be a good place to check out. Just trying to get you to quicker answers.

I retrofitted TT-RS brakes to my TT 3.2 Coupe. I had exactly the issues you described and solved them the same way.
i was getting tired of running spacers at the track, especially with frequent wheel changeovers and finally found some 19s thst fit perfectly. 19 x 8.5 Fast FC04.
