Default Wish the new TT could do this.

iPod tracks integrated into the Nav system. Oh well, I won't be getting a new TT anyway.

Default Fourtitude has a nice story on this.....see link inside.

As usual, they outscoop AW. Nice job over there as always!

New Audi Music Interface iPod & MP3 Integration Examined with Audi's Filip Brabec

Default They could do better with phones too

From the article, "Our engineers have always felt that way. What we don't want is to get married to any one particular thing. The same philosophy is behind the telephone integration in the car. You try to see how many phones you can adapt to the solution."

If only they bothered to update the list of compatible phones. The current list dates back to May. Some phones are not even available in the US any longer (Nokia 6230).

I called Audi USA today. They're working on an updated list but have no idea when it will come.

Maybe I'm harsh but I'd expect better.

Default right on, JB. You're not too harsh IMHO!!

Figuring out what phones work (including Phonebook sync) is ridiculous. My Sprint PPC6700 works handsfree thru car speakers/microphone, but NO SYNC which is VERY important to me with hundreds of contacts.

Aslo, when Audi updates "the list", the new phones often show up with 1st Year: 2007, but I'd guess they may work with 2006, but who knows ??!

(my car: 2006 S4 Avant, w/ Bluetooth but no NAV)
