Likely reserved the improved attachments for factory builds. TSB stock availability typically comes later.

Welp my trim on the upper part of the driver seat is separating when the car is off. When sitting and engine on its less noticable. Gonna bring it to get checked out when i get my 5k service done

Default Seats came apart AGAIN

I started this thread in fall of last year when i first noticed seats coming apart. It took months for parts to arrive but dealer eventually fixed it in january or february. Now its may and my seats are coming apart again.😢😟😡

im taking to dealer Monday morning. He said he would take photos to send to his rep. We'll see.

they need to get this right

Sorry to hear that yours have failed again.
It does take Audi a long time to get these issues resolved.
I sure hope new builds are now free of this issue, but I am not confident.

At this point im slightly discouraged. Im not sure what they will do differently than the first time. Im very concerned this will become an endless cycle. I really hope they get this right 😞

The information suggests there is a 2nd redesign, but it is very hard to know if one is getting the newest parts.

I just took my car to the dealer for the same issue... They are going to replace everything including the airbags... There is a TSB for it and it specifically says to replace the airbags.

I think that if your airbags were not replaced then you probably got the old fail prone parts.

How did you get that button down seatbelt pass trough? I have a 16 too only with red seats and it does not have that...

Canada gets the seatbelt loop; US does not. Must be a US-DOT non-approval thing.

Yeah we don't want that thing. It's unsightly and could take off an ear when the bags are deployed.
