I debated quite a bit about do I or don't I when I ordered, and then regretted my choice while waiting. When I picked it up it, was parked next to the fixed spoiler TT-RS and in hindsight, I think the fixed looks better, but I think the car is beautiful enough without it, that I don't really have any regrets.

It will be interesting in 5-10 years if the design ages well. I will say absolutely no regrets on the color choice. The red looks absolutely awesome.

Don't torture yourself, Grumpy - it looks fine without the fixed spoiler! The designers knew what they were doing when they created the Mark III.

I like the setting where you took the pictures...where is it - Texas? And by the way, what color is the car?

This is Catalunya red. When you see it in person it's more orangey than the picture shows. You can always see it in the parking lot.

This is shot outside my house in San Jose,CA. Seriously love this car.

I have an Ara Blue Crystal with the fixed wing, but like it without too.

The two spoilers gives the car two complete different looks. While the big wing screams sports car, the integrated power design compliments the car much more from a design aspect as to what the designer's envisioned. I much prefer the integrated power spoiler, but really....you can't go wrong here. It's just a personal preference.

As I ease onto the highway (ok, more like punch it) I like the small drama of the wing deploying as I break the 75 mph barrier, and also like to think I entertain those with whom I merge (ok, swiftly put in my rearview mirror).

But I can also appreciate that the fixed spoiler differentiates the TT-RS and is certainly a no nonsense visage.

Nice that you can't lose either way.
