YES!!! - MAJOR MOVEMENT....due Houston in ONE week!
Received a call yesterday from my Audi Salesman/Inventory Mgr/Sport Specialist before he left for Munich for the E-Tron launch prep. Our 'updated' TT (same configuration as our '16 except getting 19" wheels this time) is on the Goodwind (vessel #176) due Houston February 6. He said it will probably be at the dealership in Broomfield by mid-Feb, which is what he estimated when we ordered it on 30 October..
Now I need to have a think about tires....whether to replace them immediately with 19" all-seasons if there is enough technology advancement to deal with Colorado winters (thus to eliminate having two sets of tires/wheels)....in which case I'd sell the OEM 19" tires while they're 'new'. So, I'll have a tires' question....but that appropriately will be a separate thread.

For what it is worth. Ordered my NA Spec TT about 3 weeks ago, dealer in Italy told me my S line package car will be built on 4 February, possibly sooner. I wont have any updates until She comes off of Her Leave/Vacation. I have been viewing the specs on some A3s that have been released. Other than 97 A3 beater car I bought a year ago, first time actually dealing with Audi. The cool part is work requires me to go by the Plant 9-10 times a Year.

At least we are seeing movement on these cars, mine seems to be on a similar schedule. I live in a moderate size City and have only seen 3 late model TT's. I did not realize TTs were such a small portion of the Audi's in Europe.

Our 2019 TT is READY for Pick Up!...and TIRE Thoughts?
Our Salesman called Thursday to say that our TT has just come off the truck, still covered in its white protective garb. Snow is forecast for the next three days with hardly enough warming for several days to allow any to clear off the roadways. So, next step is to 'anticipate' which of the upcoming several days would be safest to drive it down to the Xpel Ultimate Plus (and ceramic coating) installer who will keep it inside for the remainder of the two week wait on their schedule.
Looking forward to it being all done and ready for a road trip, either south to Santa Fe or north to Yellowstone Only wish is that we could have gotten highly 'snow-effective' all-season tires so as to avoid the swapping tires/wheels routine twice a year. Anyone have thoughts on a tire that would be effective all year in the Colorado?

I noticed on cars.com that 2019s are starting to trickle in. Glad to see your TT is showing up with the dealer inventory cars.

Great to hear Bill that you'll soon have your new TT !!
I'm now running 19" OEM wheel with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and they do very well in snow/sleet. Also quite good in the Summer. Of course not quite as good as dedicated snow tires nor quite as good as dedicated Summer tires. But no more seasonal swap. And they have a bit more meatier look all year long.

Eyeballed the Tires Yesterday....
Thanks, Randall_G….and thanks, BlackOptic….and thanks, Huey52.
Having done a little research beforehand, I'd thought those Continental's or Michelin's might be good choices, so it's good to hear BlackOptic's and Huey52's experiences. After having the '16 with standard 18" wheels, I specifically wanted the 19" wheels on the new TT...partially because they look so nice and also because I wanted at least a little something different between our old TT and new TT. I also think I recall seeing several previous comments about the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ having a comfortable ride, so that's the one I'll look into. Avoiding the seasonal swap is becoming more important to me as the years go by.
Yesterday I went to the dealer to eyeball the tires and they are Bridgestone, probably Potenza but I couldn't actually see the detail. It's 10 degrees Fahrenheit outside now and I understand those tires shouldn't be driven in temps that cold....
Does it actually damage them?
Anyone know if I might expect to get a bit of allowance from a dealer for those Bridgestones as 'new' take-offs?
Also saw that the rockers panels are contoured now and hadn't realized there had been a change since our YM 2016. Looks nice!

Getting the Michelin's!
'Strike' those questions as now irrelevant! Yesterday I arranged with the dealer to take off the Bridgestone Potenza tires (with a little credit) and put on new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+.....and happy with the decision

How much 'credit' did your dealer give you to take off those new summer tires?

You chose .... Wisely!
This time I too got my Michelin's at the dealership as they were surprisingly competitive in price.
