Default 2019 tts packages and spoiler

I am 50/50 on getting a fixed vs adaptive spoiler. There is no spoiler delete option from any package. But the competition package looks really nice(especially the rims...R8 style?) . Black optic package "deletes" the spoiler but rim offering is different. Opinions welcome.

Been discussed many times on this forum. Seems to be a 50-50 split on opinions so do whatever pleases you. Some folks like the clean look of the adaptive, some like the aggressive look of the fixed, some think the fixed is too "ricer". From a performance perspective, it would appear that the fixed is unnecessary drag at normal speeds (which is almost all the time you drive) but should provide better downforce at high speeds. If I was a track rat, I'd go fixed.

Thanks. I'll probably go for fixed because I like the inlays and wheels with the competition package. Audi doesn't allow you to mix and match with the configurator. But the RS line has always allowed a spoiler delete option...interesting.

Also, don’t fall in love with OEM wheels, they weigh a ton. Sell them and stay sub 22lbs with after market.

Yah, i am really ticked that the 2019 TTS can’t be done with Carbon Inlays without going for the Comp package. I prefer the TT without the fixed spoiler. For me, the 2019 TTS with BO, red calipers, tech, Nappa leather (came out to ~$62k USD) and is “all good” except no carbon inlays.

For grins, I just configured the 2018 TTRS with the BO, Red capilers, tech, Nappa leather and no spoiler and it’s ~$75.6k.

That’s $13k extra for carbon inserts, an extra cylinder and 0.8 less seconds to 60.

(Ugh.. Since... I’d be happy with a TTS over a TTRS. I’ve heard the inlay switch over is practically impossible... but, for $13k, perhaps it would be doable.)
