235/35/r19 - Will it Fit? Audi TT RS 2018
Hello community members!
I am seeking for some advice. Just purchased a new 2018 Audi TT RS and winter is coming up (Canada).
Im trying to save a bit of money and I have a slightly used SOTTO ZERO winter tires that I had with my previous car CLA45 AMG.
Provided that I get a rim that fits the tires and car, can i bare through the winter with 235/35/r19.
Tire rack recommends 245/35/r19.
Please help!!!! I am desperate.

It will be shorter which will set your speedometer off a bit. I plugged it in backwards, try yourself at https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Welcome fellow Canuck! You might want to go directly to a tire/wheel shop to see if they have a rim that will work on your caar. I suspect you may have trouble clearing the front calipers going that narrow. I did a "fitting" to find my winter wheels. I went from 255/30/R20 to 245/40/R18 (I have an S). 235 seems like a pretty big difference for an RS.
Best of luck!

For 19" wheels you really need to look at the construction of the spokes on the inside of the wheel. Don't trust the wheels manufacturers, I talked to Nuespeed and ordered from Nuespeed and Vorstiener, both said their wheel would fit and after arrival neither of them fit...and then to add insult to injury, Vorstiener stuck me with the shipping fees for both ways even when it was their mistake.
For winters I am currently running OZ Rally wheels in 19x8.5 and 245/35 Michelin PA4's. Summer setup is HRE FF01 20x9ET35 with 275/30 Michelin PS4S. Car is also very low on MSSkit Sport full adjustable...No issues at all last winter but was also using some 225/45R19 Pirellis which were taller and skinnier than the current tire.

Hello fellow members of the Great White North!
I just had winters and rims installed on my 2018 TTRS with carbon ceramic front brakes. I went to an Audi/VW specialist garage locally and—believe it or not— had 18" rims put on.
They are Fast Wheels FC04 (flow forged, only about 18 lbs per rim) 18 x 8.5 , 5-112 with 225/45/18 tires.
The 18" rims clear the callipers about a 1/4-3/8" at the widest part of the caliper. (see pics)
