Is the front end/bumper of the 2019 interchangable with the 2018?
Hello team. Enjoying this forum, and all of your posts! My very first post subject says it all.
2 years of parallel street parking has left my Glacier White front bumper pretty much marred and nicked up to all heck, with a few small dents here and there. There are sloppy parkers in these parts.
I was planning on doing some damage control repair this summer with an autobody shop. But before I do that, anyone know if I can instead swap in the new 2019 front end? I actually like the look of the wider intakes and grills, so might as well, if it is plug and play. Getting my 2018 bumper "repaired" is probably the most cost effective, but anyone else have advice on paying more for a the 2019 front end part, and going down that path? ie. Is it basically a one piece swap out?
Cheers,
James

I find myself wondering the same thing, I love the new front end and fixed rear spoiler while I’m not too keen on the new rear bumper...what’s with the fake vent fad anyway?

Make that three of us! Yep, the front is def more aggressive, and I would do this if it is, well, doable, and easy enough ($). Re. back end, I dig only the rear trim bits around the exhaust -- hopefully that can be done easily as ordering the correct trim part and swapping... I saw the rear vents at the car show, and it makes things look too busy IMO.
OP, what did you learn from the body shop?

P.S.
Don't know if any of you had had problems with the B & O Audio in the Mk 3, but there is a software update just available from Audi. I had it done last Tuesday so early days to see if it has cured the problem of Traffic Announcements turning On when they feel like it!
