wow, a big thanks to macaddict111 for figuring this out. Who woulda thunk..... I love it. ( if you lived locally, i'd buy you a tank of 100 octane fuel ! ) ok a few gallons....

I'd take you up on that! There's one place I drive by here in LA that sells it... For $7.50 a gallon. I really don't think these cars can get anything out of more than 92 maybe... I still wanna try! haha

LOL (at myself). I guess these days we first look for the high tech and rather neglect the low tech necessities. Good find Macaddict111.

Presumably a check valve requiring the canister type end? It's actually these attention to detail things that remind me, and substantiate, why Audi's cost what they do.
