I have been a very squeaky wheel and complained to all levels of the company. I was not as upset that there was a delay as I was about the wall of silence regarding its cause. I've been hounding them pretty constantly since my car's original production date (late January) came and went with neither notice nor explanation. I also stayed friendly with the dealer because Audi did not give them any information, either, afaik.

My current '13 TT RS can be viewed in my album and profile pic. It's 6-speed manual (USA), Daytona grey, Bose sound, navigation/tech package, spoiler delete. I've also added Brembo front brakes in anticipation of modding the car, but then Audi announced the '18 version so I never took that step. So basically is bone stock except for a $6500 brake upgrade. 39k miles, excellent condition.

When it comes time to sell it, I'll post more info in the appropriate forums, but I'll be looking for about $42k.

I would love to do Audi Exclusive on a TTRS with at least the exterior color but almost every person I have heard of that has ordered one like that has had to wait at least 7 months and I don't think I am willing to do that. I am glad to hear that you are finally getting your car soon though.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a 6-7 month wait. Then it turned into a 9-10 month wait with no explanation provided. I was very tempted to cancel the order, but in the end Audi is trying to make things right, and I am excited about the build, so here we go 😊
