Paddle Fingers
... somehow sounds obscene, but thats what they are...
One of my two gripes with the TTRS is now resolved - i can have my hands off the 3 and 9 positions and still comfortably shift.
They also feel a lot better than the aluminum paddle edges on the RS/R8 steering wheel. For folks who drive in manual, its quite a tactile improvement IMO.
Lastly, if your car happens to come with the carbon trim package (or whatever the deuce its called), they look rather close to the tones used by Audi. So aside from the fact that they're visibly obviously carbon shims attached to plastic + metal (a rare miss on this car), they actually fit the trim quite nicely.

3M adhesive remover or similar. Spray or wipe on, especially the perimeter to give yourself an initial peeling point. Let seep in and thereafter fairly easy to remove.
The 'industrial strength' 3M tape works very well. Case in point is some vehicle's side skirt trim is held on primarily with 3M tape and it lasts indefinitely. Of course as in all projects preparation is 90% of the effort and in this case pre-wiping with isopropyl alcohol to ensure a very clean adhesion surface.

interesting. i got shifter extensions with screws cause i couldn’t figure out if i’d like the extensions and didn’t want to commit. i will say that with the extensions in place, the cruise controls become even more awkward.
