Paint colors in 2016 (US)
I was looking into picking a used TTS and I love the look of the Audi in blue but I cant seem to find any for sale in this model year right now. Did Audi not offer blue on the 2016 model year or am I just unlucky in my hunt right now?

Point 1: when I search the site below for 2017 TTS it shows Ara Blue Crystal as an option (with Scuba Blue too), but when I go to 2016 TTS, I only see Scuba Blue.
Point 2: Scuba Blue was not offered on the S model at least in 2017 (and still isn't, Audi's site only has Ara available for TTS), so the autobytel listing has that error (probably because they consider TTS as an add-on which should have all the base colors, but in reality it's more like a seperate model). So I see the difference between years in the link below, and the fact that scuba was a base model option only, and it makes me think you may be right, 2016 S may not have had a blue.

I have an 2017 Ara Blue Crystal, and literally the first thing everyone says is "Wow, what a great color". You won't be disappointed. And omg it looks so freaking good at night... As if you needed any more ammo to search... Consider a 2017, it's worth it for the color!

Blue TTs of any type are pretty rare. They seemed to be a bit more popular for the Mk 1 with Denim being my fav. They offered a triple blue roadster (blue paint, top, and seats) for a while. For the Mk 2 and 3, Audi USA typically offers 10 TT paint colors every MY; a shade of red, a shade of blue, one other color (recently yellow) and then seven various monochromatic shades between white and black. The most boring paint color palette of any major car manufacturer. Most Audi dealers will not even consider ordering a blue car for their inventory, so blue TTs are usually special order and thus very rare. This makes hunting a blue used TT really difficult. You will have to search nationwide to have any chance of finding one, particularly the extremely low production TTS.
The amazing thing is that those of us with blue TTs gets lots of unsolicited raves about the color. Go figure.

Shop with Cars.com. They have a color/year etc filter easy peasy. I used it exclusively for my search (5 fun months)
Also no car play on 16s FYI.
