Default Pricing?

I haven't been on this site for a few months. Back then, because of the excessive mark up at Audi dealers for the TTRS, I decided to not buy at this time. So, have the dealers quit marking up their TTRS inventory? Audi North in Austin had a 10K mark up over MSRP which is what I consider a sexual assault. No way for me. What are you guys paying?

all depends on supply and demand in the market I guess.

I've sold a few - all were done at a bit of a discount from MSRP + loyalty.

Sexual assault? Really? Equating buying a car with sexual assault is a rather weird thing to say.

That's interesting you say that. When I picked mine up my salesman told me I was lucky to order when I did because they just starting to ask $5000 over MSRP. I played along, but figured he was just blowing smoke. Never really thought they were quoting over MSRP for real. When I was in there in late Oct of last year they had a Nardo TTRS on the showroom floor and I don't remember seeing a markup on the sticker at the time. Their website does currently have one listing for a Daytona TTRS for $73,650 (New 2018 Audi TT RS For Sale | Austin TX). So it would seem like they aren't currently marking them up.

That said, I paid MSRP with a little off ($1000, I think) for Veteran discount at the time of purchase, but mine was a preorder.

Plenty for sale asking MSRP and is likely negotiable. The new model flurry is over and cars are sitting on the lot. That said, you might have a hard time finding a local dealer who has an allocation for a custom order.

Default Pricing TT RS

Many dealers ask for a huge markup. I received $3,500 off MSRP. No way I would pay the markup. Most of the TT RS stay on the lot 3 to 6 months. Some dealers believe there's a market for those to pay the markup which is true however when they see a buyer interested after a test drive, they start to deal. Shop around and inform the next dealer you are shopping around. You will get your discount!

i just got an offer of $500 under invoice and $1000 loyalty. that's around $6000 off plus a 799 dealer fee. It's tempting.
