R8 WHEELS ON TTRS?
#3
Pretty sure I read somewhere, maybe Autozine, that the front wheels would work because they're similarly sized as the stock TTRS wheels. But the rear wheels form the R8 won't fit because they're staggered. So you'd need 4 front R8 wheels.
Sorry I don't have a link, but I hope that helps.

Hi,
FWIW, you can run staggered size wheels on your TT, you just need to make sure the diameter (rotations/mile) of the tires that you choose for Front and Rear are very close to identical (1% or so...)
It's very common, and many other AWD/Quattro vehicles (like the R8) come with staggered wheels...the BMW X5M as another example.
I have 275/30-20 rears and 245/35-20 fronts on my TTS, and have been running staggered wheels on my AWD Dodge Stealth TT and BMW X5 for years with no issues.
Use a tire size calculator and match the diameters to be as close as you can for the tires you would like to run.
Example Tire Size Calculator
I do think the 305s might be a bit wide for the TT platform, but it would also depend on the offset and width of the wheel also.
Example Wheel Offset Calculator
Thanks,
John
