Same, just got my letter yesterday, and have had seat trim's replaced and they've been fine.

Yes you should.....because out of warranty the repair costs is over $1,300.....EACH seat!!!! I mine was done 3 times. These seats have cost Audi a fortune.

FYI It's interesting 2017 R8s share the exact same air bag/steering wheel and are also a part of the recall. Apparanlty MY 18 they switched to a new design. I received my letter for my TT two days ago stating parts will become available March 29th to US dealers.
