Seat Dye and Wheel Paint?
My Express Red drivers side seat in my 2017 TTS has some significant finish wear. I feel as though seats of this caliber shouldn't be wearing so soon. It was done while under the care of the previous owner.
Anyhow, I can't find dye for them anywhere. I have found a couple of companies who make seat dye, but they haven't dealt with Express Red and would need a sample. Unfortunately, there is no extra fabric anywhere I can see to send them. Does anyone know where I may be able to find some?
Also, wheel touch up paint for the 20 inch wheels? I know the color code and name, but I am having issues finding this also. I called the dealership and they said they don't sell it... They actually sounded like they thought I was an idiot for asking. I had an issue where I needed a wheel cut off, and it did a bit of damage. Not enough for a complete refinish job, but enough so I am annoyed.

My 2016 TTS sport seat leather is pristine. It's not the seat quality but owner care, or lack thereof.

VAG silver wheels can typically utilize Wurth silver paint and clear coat. I've had good luck with same.

Your dealership really should have been more helpful. Seat re-dye and wheel touchup is not unheard of. However many dealers will outsource both types of repairs to a regional mobile outfit that handles a range of brands.

For anyone that may need to know, I have gotten the company "ColourLock" to make an Express Red leather dye.
I will test it out and post the results.
