Temp Bra/Painter's Tape
Hi,
I am picking up a new TTRS this weekend. Needless to say I am very excited!!
I have a 300 mile trip back home. I will have PPF applied then.
I have seen painter's tape used as a temp bra.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best brand?
Or are there any other products out there that anyone has used?
It will be left on for 48-72 hours max.
Temps will be in the low 30's. Interstate speeds.
Thanks a bunch!

Rocks can still punch through tape. It's not as thick and sturdy as paint protection film. 300 mile trip is probably fine, but if you want better protection take a look at XPEL Tracwrap. If all goes well, I'm taking delivery of a '19 C63 S in Germany this coming May and I'm planning on staying for 2 months. I stayed 1 month last time with my RS5 and ended up with a couple of chips before I could protect it here in the USA, so this time I'm planning to take a bunch of XPEL Tracwrap with me and protect the front and mirrors.

Got home safely with the 3M automotive tape. Car went to my shop for total car PPF the next day. Will post pics when I get it back. Thanks again for the advice.
