Tinting

It shouldn't as it's more a 'cosmetic' item and doesn't degrade the glass. Of course be sure you research your locale's restrictions on level of tint so you don't 'void' any motor vehicle laws.

Short answer - NO.
long answer - The Magnusson Moss Act spells out all the info you need to determine your allowed use of aftermarket/specialty parts and how the OEM cannot void your warranty. Doesn't mean the dealer wont TRY to void for certain things, but something as simple and pedestrian as tint you have NOTHING to worry about. Your dealer outsources this anyway when they install it to a local tint shop/installer.

Definitely not
Even for what I did in this thread, the warranty is not void (I replaced the glass with privacy glass instead of tinting). For anything relating to car warranty, if the work done on a car can be shown to be done by a skilled technician and does not subject the car to stresses outside normal operation (i.e. performance chipping for car), then they cannot legally void the warranty. Additionally, they cannot void "the warranty" as a whole. Instead, they can only void systems affected by the modifications.

Doing the aftermarket tinting 30% all windows except front windshield which I hear is illegal.
Am I correct when I read aftermarket tinting is better for UV protection vs factory that just.has pigmented glass?
Thanks

Depending on where you live, you can sometime get away with tinting a stripe across the top of the windshield to act as a sun visor. Also be sure to check your state's laws because tint rules are generally state and not federal, and the restrictions vary a great deal.
