TT interior seat - black vs rock grey?
I have trouble deciding on the colour
TT interior seat - black vs rock grey?
Black is fine but getting boring.
Rock grey looks nicer but I'm worried about keeping the rock grey clean. Also, it develops a shine after use right? I usually wear jeans and the dye comes off from the jeans. Would that be a problem?

I've had both (currently rotor grey, as I too feel it looks nicer, esp. with my blue exterior). I haven't noticed any blue jean dye stains from box store Levi's. No shine either at now ~7k miles. However I do regularly use a quality leather conditioner, although mostly for the aroma, e.g. Zaino Leather in a Bottle.
Audi does a great job of factory leather stain repellant treating.
But I do know what you mean as I routinely have to clean jean dye off my wife's Caddy beige seats!

Also have rock grey in my A3. I do see some light color rubbing onto the bolsters, so every few weeks I get a damp towel and carefully wipe it off and use Meguiar's leather conditioner after. I had black previously, these seats do add a bit of pop and lighten the interior, I'm glad I went with them.

Got 55K on my 2011 TTR gray seats. Hate black. No problems keeping gray clean. No transfer issues but I rarely wear jeans which seems to be the primary culprit on some car seats. IMO, black is the dumbest color for seats in a roadster because it is like sitting in a frying pan when the top is down. Black may be Ok for folks who live in the frosty north like Main or Wisconsin but it is still a very boring color seen on 90% of cars sold today. Dare to be different.

I would go with Rock Grey over black as well, just take care of it as others have stated.
I ordered Rotor Grey over Black in my S line Coupe.
Rock is a little lighter looking than Rotor based on pictures.
