Default Xpel

Anybody use Xpel on their cars? I recently sold a Corvette that I had a partial wrap on the front and rockers. Worked great! Has anyone wrapped their TTRS? Do you do the rocker panels, too?

I have a "bikini" front on my wife's E350 and a full front on my TT. Looks great after several year of use. I highly recommend full front on the TT, particularly if you have a dark color. Another self-healing product that has received excellent reviews is Suntek.

I also have Xpel Ultimate full front plus a-pillars and front of roof, sills and rear quarter panels. Hood is wrapped around the edges. Great protection. I live at the end of 1.5 miles of gravel road, so it takes some abuse and still looks smart!

I did full front, all fender/wheel well bulges, rockers, behind rear wheels, inside door sills.

Yes. Since car was new and paint was good. Minor paint correction/polish was done prior to putting ppf on. Then coating on top of it.

same. My wrap started the day I picked up my car so there was minimal prep involved, but wash/detail was part of it. That was done by wrappers.

Got my wife's E350 at 3 years old but front was in excellent shape with virtually no front end dings. Apparently the car had seen limited freeway use. Installer just claybared and then installed. On my TT, I had the entire front end re-sprayed because it looked like it had been hit by several shotgun blasts after only 2 years. The TT sees a lot of cross country freeway driving where speed limits are 75+ and I sometime go a tad faster

There's a fantastic post about a member being hit by a cement truck and having no paint damage because of his clear wrap! Looked bad at first too:

TBH I'm going to put Xpel on my runners for sure. They're getting a lot of marks from rocks as well as driver(me)/passenger kick marks especially on the top of the runner. For the rest, I guess I'm going to see what areas get light wear and consider adding it there.
