Default TTRS Convertible

Are there any plans by Audi to offer the TTRS in a convertible model? If so, when?
Thanks!

They already do; it just isn't available in the US. I've not heard any indication they plan on bringing it over.

Convertible sales are down dramatically in recent years. My dealership in sunny Las Vegas has sold 1 TT roadster so far this year and has one languishing in the showroom while all of their coupes are sold. Audi did not sell the Mk 2 TTRS convertible in the US although it was sold in Europe. Same for the Mk 3 TTS roadster. The chance of a Mk 3 TTRS being offered in the US is zero. US certification costs are more than the profit they would get from so few sales. If they had offered a Mk 2 TTRS roadster in the US, I'd own one.
