TTS (MK3) - Floor Jack lift points

Hello All - can someone please confirm where the lift points are on a 2016 Audi TTS when using a floor jack?

Can see the pinch weld for the supplied jack, but want to use a floor jack to lift and then use the pinch weld for jack stands.

There's a rubber attachment visible underneath (both front and back), but not sure if these are the jacking points - see attached images.

Thank you!

...

Of course the pinch welds are best as outboard stability. Jackpoint stands are a great solution, but they always seem to be out of stock: https://shop.jackpointjackstands.com...ish-JPSPMF.htm (contact them to get on their ~ 4-week waiting list to order)

Hi Huey52 - thanks for the response.

I have a jack adapter for the pinch weld (attached) which works great with a low profile floor jack I bought from Harbor Freight (Daytona Low Profile Floor Jack - Item# 64240) so not a problem to lift the car up for a quick wheel change or something like that, but the challenge is lifting and then getting the jack stand under the pinch weld as not sure where else I can place the jack stand.

@vic_01
Where do you get the jack adaptor?

Hi Bob - I tried several jack adaptors, but the openings on most were too narrow and did not go over the rubber coating on the pinch weld or were too deep and was resting on the underbody instead of the pinch weld.

Got lucky on the 5th try - from Amazon at the below link - you can also search on Amazon for "XINYOU Jack Pad Pinch Weld Jack Adapter Frame Rail Protector":

I've been using a Protech pinch weld adapter for many years, now with a Harbor Freight race jack. Side Lift Pads

Reverse Logic has excellent products as well. https://www.reverselogic.us/audi_jac...egory=27756294 (cavity type for Mk2 and scroll down a bit for Mk3 pinch weld type) I use one of their cavity type adapters for my wife's MB GLA.

The photo I prior mentioned was in an Audizine thread on resonator removal (despite a good deal of search I can't find it ... I'm not much help).

But as I'm not entirely sure the 3rd party shop used Audi-sanctioned lift points anyway perhaps someone with a shop manual can provide the official insight?

I use a hockey puck as padding for the pinch welds when jacking up the car.
