thank you for such in-depth information. Have you had any issues with your 2016 stage one ?
I have had APR tunes on 1 MKI TT, 2 MKII TTSs and one MKIII TTS and have not had any problems with any of the tunes. Also, as I pointed out above, one of the MKII TTS had it's heads replaced under warranty when it was over 4,000 miles out of warranty and had an APR tune installed. BTW, my tune friendly dealer is Audi of Huntsville, 100 miles south of you.

Hello, one of the first mods I want to do it get a tune on the car. I had a couple questions about tuning my 2018 S5 SB. I wanted to know if anyone has tuned theirs yet and if so from where (if you have videos that would be great)? I was looking into APR & ABT for tuning, has anyone came across any problems with their tunes? Are you satisfied with the performance? Do you feel the change from 354HP to 433HP in the car or is it subtle? Also are there any other well known tuners for the S5 SB other than ABT & APR? If you have any information on this or if there are any treads talking about this please leave the link below. I'd love to hear y'alls feedback.

You might get more authoritative response in the S5 section.

Of course not but what they have done and I have every confidence they will continue to do is stand up for my warranty claim with AoA (I have been told that such calls are not actually made in Germany).

I will never understand chippy comments when someone presents a well thought out post. He gives me exactly what I was looking for. Hard data with experience to back it up. There is NO guarantee on any mod. I realize that. But at least with more info I can make a decision that at least has some merit to it. These are awesome cars that are a privilege to own. Why must some post unfriendly remarks?

That is not completely accurate as APR offers what they call APR Plus which will for a little more than the plain tune will provide a warranty for any damage to your drive train.

you know I forgot that the tune shop in Nashville did mention this option for $2400 extra. I was not sure what it covered.

They misquoted then you because it is only $400 extra - see here at the bottom of the page. Oops, my bad as the Plus does require a downpipe which is an additional $900.
