I currently have a VAD (ProDiag) but getting a newer car...
that runs on CAN (its a Q7 so im assuming it doesn't use Kline like my A4 does)....
is my current software essentially useless to me if i will be owning a Q7 now? Please let me know if i need to upgrade.

The new Q7 will run on CAN-Bus diagnostics....
therefore VAD Mobile will not be able to communicate to its ECU's. The VAD Pro-900, our professional scanner, will connect to the 2008 Q7, and other makes and models other than Audi and VW. You can view its specifications at www.vadpro.com.
