ProDiag on v.1.06 on Palm IIIc not showing airbag codes.
Trying to figure out why I get no airbag codes.
I have a ProDiag v.1.06 running on a Palm IIIc and on my 2001 Audi S4 (not an 2001.5 model) I'm getting an airbag light so I'm trying to check what's wrong with it using my VAD but no codes come up when I try and check for them.
Any idea's? Are there some airbag codes that the VAD cannot read?
I should add that it does communicate fine w/ my car so I'm assuming it's not a basic communication error.
TIA!

Re: Airbag Codes
Try a software update. The latest version, 1.12 is available for free update at www.vadmobile.com.

http://www.vadmobile.com</a

It may be your cluster and not the airbag controller...>>
I've got a 2001 TT with a wonky airbag light. The airbag controller has never thrown a code of any sort, but the airbag light comes on when the engine is started, staying on for up to 15 mins depending on how cold it is outside (colder=on longer). I am convinced it's either the cluster or the connection from the airbag controller to the cluster, because the controller checks out fine with ProDiag and Vag-Com--even when the airbag light is staring me in the face. You may have a related problem...
