Default "Brake pad wear" warning disable?

I did the standard override of the break wear sensor, i.e., just connected the two wires. Still, it will occasionally light up and give me the warning. I've "fixed" the connection twice already but the warning will still light up, say every 5 starts. I didn't see a list of TT codes on the Ross-Tech site. Does anyone know if there is a software disable for that warning? Thanks.

Post your instrument cluster coding and cluster part number.

Default Same for you, post your instrument cluster coding and cluster part number.

I'll tell you your "new" coding, with disabled "brake pad warning" then. Since I don#t have the time at the moment to come up with the complete coding chart.

Default Re: Post your instrument cluster coding and cluster part number.

I have the same problem for my B6 A4 (2004 avant). I changed to the ECS Stage 3 brakes. All worked fine with the cut wire method, then some time later (about 8 months) the light came on again and I can't get rid of it.

I've checked the wires multiple times, but can't get rid of the warning light.

My cluster details are:

VAG Number: 8E) 920 900L
Code: 11700

Is there anything I can do in VAG to recode and remove the warning?
