"vagging" for fog lights... again...
I know this has been discussed before but I thought I'd try to vag for fogs with parking lights on my new 3.0 QM ultrasport (great looking car!) that replaced my "02 QM sport. Changed the last digit to 1 from 3 and no difference. Tried the code from my '02 for ROW and it made the lo beams come on ALL the time! Wonder if the new headlight switch with the auto mode which my '02 didn't have is the culprit??? Changing the locking code was the same as the '02 and worked great...

Re: my 2003 was able to be vagged to have fogs on with parking...
Thanks for that Info, QuarJap. I am going to try that code on my '03 A4 1.8T but I am not optimistic. I suspect that the '02 version of the central electric control module for US A4s (1.8Ts only?) was changed by Audi for '03. In one of the Audi A4/B6 model introduction, Service Training manuals I found references to a "highline" and a "lowline" version. The description of capabilities for each implies that the highline module has differing options selectable via coding while the lowline module does not provide coding options. So, replacing the '03 part with an '02 module may enable the lighting functions as desired. Different wiring harnesses may also be required.

Re: "vagging" for fog lights... again...
Hello, I have an 2004 A4 B6 1.8t and I want to know the vag code so the fog lights to turn on with the parking lights.
I have the Lighting Package in my car,and for some reason the code is different with the 2003 model.
Could anyone provide me with the code. Thanks
