[01 Engine], [Measuring block 08] button grayed out?
I wanted to check and log the turbo boost on an A5 1.8TFSI, but the measuring block button is grayed out.
What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like that control module uses UDS and is not yet fully supported:
"Support for control modules using the new UDS/ODX/ASAM protocol.
The following functions are supported:
Control Module ID (including Advanced ID), Coding, Security Access, and Fault Codes."
Please email an AutoScan from the car.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/revisions.html">http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/revisions.html</a</li></ul>

"Fully compatible with all models from Audi including 2008+ Audi A5/S5 (B8 platform, 8T chassis)"?
Ok, thats unfortunate. I hoped the quote from the site would be sufficient guarantee for full compatibility.
Any timeframe on when this will be fully supported?
TIA

The site is indeed misleading there, we apologize for that...
...but we are working on adding the missing functionality right now and were already doing demos showing live data from the ECU by using preview version of the upcoming version cycle. There has not been a specific date set when the new version will be made public in form of a beta version but I hope this will happen later this year.
For now you may want to use the generic OBD2 access to read live data, that should also give you some boost values.

On the page you updated today ;-)
The whole passage didn't fit within the forum subject limit, so I had to edit.
I see you added a note:
"* Controllers using the new UDS/ODX protocol currently have limited functionality. See our Revision History for more information."
I understand from Uwe that there will an update within the next few months with more or full UDS support.
In the mean time, what OBD2 values do I have to look at for boost pressure? Are these numbers as acurate as the measurement block logs?
Thanks again.
