I found this fault code waiting for me today (full text included at end). Does any one have more insight into what this condition from the Radio is? I have cleared the code and am waiting to see if it comes back.

OK. So in radio terms (English to German):
Radio frequency (RF) = Hochfrequenz (HF)
IF Alignment = ZF Abgleich

I then looked in my Bentley manual and see that there is a "Control unit for antenna selection, Underneath the roof frame trim" on my car and in the diagram it has HF and ZF marked on it. I can't be certain but I am guessing the ZF is NOT a signal return cable but a power output cable for the controller. The Bentley manual mentions "...the original Audi radio units have a remotely driven antenna (the voltage supply of the antenna amplifier is driven via a center wire of the high frequency cable)."

So does this error mean that the power supply cable to the antenna control has shorted? Or is this something else?

I got this code After i install XM Radio RF module. But after i installed an amplified one it went away but i still have another code for the radio.

...from the Bentley forum:
Check the antenna at the top of the rear window they are having an issue with board cracking at the hf/zf connections.

Looks like it will be time for yet another dealer visit... grumble grumble.
