I bought the euro rear light form OEMplus.com for my 2009 A4 cabrio. The US version does not have the amber turn signal vs the European version. The new Euro lights are installed, but there is coding that needs to be done to activate the amber turn signal. Currently the brake light flash just like it is the US version, and the amber turns on when the rear tail light is activated. In the US model, the side marker and rear tail light turn on when you switch on the light. My service center cannot find what module to change this coding. Anyone know what needs to be changed? Everything on the web is A6 related. HELP!!

Did you email us a while back about this car?

If I'm confusing you with someone else, please post the Auto-Scan from this car. I don't think the control module in a US car will support this modification.

I had the work done at European Auto Works in Sunnyvale, and they had to run 2 new wires to make it work without any warning lights. I now have the European rear lights working on my car with amber rear turn signals.

The OP actually had the older 09 module in the B7 Platform (non BCM). Did you have any luck with the dealer attempting to code the module, or are they also thinking this is not possible on the 8K/8T platform?
