5671 - Boost Pressure Regulation P0299

Hi everyone,

I have a 2010 Audi A5 2.0T with 80,000 KM.

A solid CEL came on the other day so I hooked it up to my vag-com and this was the result:

I have searched the forum but couldn't find any diagnosis. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I do not notice any loss of power or anything different with the drive/idle. Should I clear the code and see if it returns? Or should I bring this in asap?

Also, there was another fault code thrown but it appears to be an older issue.

Check all your hoses first.
Have a look at the notes on the wiki linked above.
There is a TPI (baby TSB) on waste gate play for your engine.

That is the system shutting itself down to preserve the battery.
Based on the voltage in the freeze frame and the age of the vehicle, you may want to replace the battery sooner than later. Thanks-Jake
