I just purchased a 2005 S4 convertible and discovered the CCM had water damage and needs to be replaced. Part # Is, 8H0 959 433L question, is this unit interchangeable with other units with last letter T, M, B or BB. or should I look specifically for an L designation. Any pitfalls I should be aware with regard to reprogramming the module.

I would say buy the same as the other codes have different settings, at least that is what I read. I had the same problem a week ago and just replaced it with the same code and all works fine but the remote which I will have to reprogram at some point.

Thank you. I replaced the CCM with a corresponding unit and everything works with the exception of the remote, just like your experience. How do I resolv this issue? Also, does the CCM control the convertible top.

The factory design of the vehicle does not allow the convertible top to be operated via the remote.

After installing a new CCM unit the windows and interior lights worked immediately. Next is reprogramming the keyless remote feature. Question, currently the convertible top is not functioning, is the ability to open and close the top part of the CCM reprogramming process?

I'm trying to locate a service center that can perform the reset. Still wondering if the convertible top operation is one of the functions controlled by the CCM

how long does it take to replace audi a4 06 quattro control module my top won't work and the dealer charged me 676 just to tell me that not to fix it just to tell me freaking crooks can anyone offer any help and pics of where this is located
