A6 C6 VCDS cannot find root cause
Dear All,
I have A6 C6 with 2.4 petrol engine. I have a problem what seemed not too difficult, but it is. My outside temperature sensor was break down and I replaced it, but the new sensor is showing wrong temperatures (today it was 23 degrees and the car showed -10 degrees). I checked it with VCDS, but it cannot find the problem. I think the cause it that the sensor sometimes shows OK results, but sometimes not. The point is, I do not know what I should do. Maybe there is short circuit in the system? Or this is confort electroinic problem? Should I do something with VCDS (e.g reset something) after sensor change?
Thank you.

Values can be checked in the measure blocks. Shouldnt be to hard to find.
Outside temperature indicator The instrument cluster evaluates both the temperature sensor for outside temperature G17 and the outside temperature signal from the Climatronic control unit J255. The lower of the two values is displayed.
-Cheers
