after changing central lock pump, i can't access central locking group in VAG-COM, any ideas?

Default after changing central lock pump, i can't access central locking group in VAG-COM, any ideas?
Every other module works fine... everytime I try to connect to the central locking group though, it times out eventually and indicates that "too many connection errors to continue".

Worked fine before I replaced the locking pump - any suggestions?

VAG-COM version? Interface type? New pump faulty?

Default old version, 200 something? I haven't updated in forever. It's a serial interface. The pump-
works fine. Was able to program the remotes and everything fine.
