Anyone ever get or know this DTC? "internal control unit - memory checksum error"
If I clear codes, it comes right back. Car is running fine, with the exception of a studder when I clear the codes

I would call APR regarding that one. Did you update the software recently?
I believe there was a discussion a long time ago involving James R regarding the 01 A4 code and some checksum errors in the factory code that APR had discovered. Do a search to see if you can turn up anything relevant...at least to give you an idea what it means.
Anyway, my *guess* is it has something to do with the code on your ECU. APR might be able to shed some light.

I have the same error code on my 2000 TT Coupe (no modifications ..... yet) regarding the 4WD system electronics (Haldex LSC). The car is functioning fine as far as I can tell. Did you find out what it means?
